hey, I’m noelle — a bay area–based experience (ux) content + comms strategist by day, and a creator + model the rest of the time.

I’m originally from birmingham, alabama, where i grew up before heading to the university of alabama (roll tide!) to study marketing. after graduation, I landed a role at adobe and made the move to california — and i’ve been here ever since.

my work is all about shaping clear, thoughtful stories — whether it’s through ux copy, a vlog-style video, or a well-composed photo.

I believe in showing up with intention, centering joy, and never underestimating the power of good lighting.

đź’Ľ career & creative path

q: how’d you break into the ux field?

a: honestly being super involved in college made all the difference. freshman year, i joined a business fraternity (akpsi) where i ended up writing bylaws for a committee. i put that on my resume — and around the same time, i was also a campus ambassador for adobe at UA. i sent my resume to the adobe recruiter who focused on ambassadors, and she matched me with an internship all about ux content strategy and accessibility. that was my first real taste of the field… and the rest is history.

q: what exactly is ux content strategy?

a: imagine using your favorite app (like instagram) with zero words — no captions, no error messages (and let’s be real, there are so many of those on ig), no labels on buttons, nothing. just icons and vibes. confusing, right? that’s where i come in. i work with designers, engineers, and researchers to write the words people see throughout a product — from navigation menus to tooltips to settings pages. so the next time you’re tapping “file > export” or reading a popup, there’s a good chance someone like me wrote that.

q: what’s the biggest misconception about working in tech?

a: that everyone’s an engineer. spoiler: i know almost nothing about how engineers actually work — and i still work in tech. there’s space for creatives, communicators, strategists, designers, researchers… the list goes on.

q: how do you balance corporate life and creative work?

a: boundaries. i don’t mess around when it comes to protecting my time — especially while working from home, where it’s way too easy to reply to slack messages at 10pm. i treat my off time like it’s non-negotiable. that said, adobe makes it easier than most. my team — from manager to vp — really prioritizes life before work, which helps me stay grounded and actually enjoy the creative things i do outside of my 9-to-5.

✨ content + lifestyle

q: what kind of content do you make?

a: mostly lifestyle content — vlog-style videos on youtube, and super random, sometimes chaotic posts on tiktok. i’ve been making videos for years but honestly? i still feel like i’m figuring it out as i go.

q: what inspired you to start your youtube + tiktok?

a: i’ve always loved filming stuff. like, since i was seven. i’d set up a camera and record myself doing absolutely nothing — just because i liked having the footage to look back on. that energy never really left. once i got my dji osmo pocket 3 (best camera ever btw), i started taking youtube more seriously. tiktok… not so much lol, but it’s fun.

q: how do you come up with video ideas?

a: i just film my life. if i’m doing something — anything — there’s a good chance i’m recording it

questions + answers

📸 modeling

q: how’d you get into modeling?

a: after going to my first-ever beyoncé concert (the renaissance tour, obviously), i somehow ended up on her website. yes — beyonce.com. i haven’t calmed down since. a friend i met at the show (who also got featured) encouraged me to look into modeling agencies. growing up tall, people always asked if i modeled — so i figured, why not finally give it a try? i applied to a few agencies in the bay, and 3 Model felt like the perfect fit. it’s also the only Black-owned agency in the area, which made the decision even easier.

q: what’s your favorite type of shoot?

a: i’m still pretty new to the modeling world (started in early 2024!), but so far i’ve loved doing skincare progression shoots. they’ll take a photo before i try a product, then again after 4 weeks, 8 weeks, etc. it’s fun to see how my skin changes over time — and get a little modeling in along the way.

q: how do you prep for a shoot?

a: first things first: pack the model bag. then i hydrate like crazy, baby my skin, and run through a few poses in the mirror. it helps me show up feeling confident and camera-ready.
